About Central Mine Services, Inc.
Central Mine Services, Inc. was started in 2001 to provide loss control services to the mining and mining related industries. The owner and principal shareholder, Lyle D. Evans, has worked in the mining industry since 1986. Mr. Evans has worked in a variety of mining operations, including gold dredging, underground lead and zinc, and surface and underground coal. A Registered Professional Engineer, Mr. Evans holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri-Rolla (Missouri University of Science & Technology). He is also a Certified Mine Safety Professional and a member of the International Society of Mine Safety Professionals. Mr. Evans has traveled across the United States and toured hundreds of mines in 37 states and four countries.
Central Mine Services, Inc. provides services for the following mining industries: coal surface and underground, metal and non-metal, precious metals, and crushed stone. CMS also provides technical assistance to help identify exposures and implement controls to reduce the frequency of incidents.
